Je suis un photographe artistique - ce ne veut pas dire seulement photographe prétentieux! cela signifie que les images ne peuvent prétendre à la réalité documentaire bien qu'elles commencent dans un appareil photo et la plupart se retrouvent dans le style de photos.

Mon objectif est de créer des images qui peuvent être appréciés sur quatre niveaux: le premier est etre un sujet intéressant ou belle, la deuxième un conception abstrait, le troisième un lien émotionnel, quatrième et la plus profonde, un lien vers le mythique caché spirituelle subconscient que alimente nos rêves. Un premier coup d'oeil peut-etre ne va pas au-delà des premiers niveaux, mais si vous passez un peu plus de la recherche il ya plus à voir.

Une grande partie de mon travail explore la relation idéale entre l'humanité et le monde naturel et de nus féminins figurent en particulier, en partie parce qu'ils ont la beauté intrinsèque, et souvent pour le symbolisme de l'etre humain dans un état totalement naturel à titre d'observateur ou de participant dans un paysage.

Je suis reconnaissant pour tout commentaire ou critique de mes photos à la fois sur les aspects techniques et votre réponse à l'image dans son ensemble et l'idée sous-jacente.

I am an art photographer - this doesn't just mean pretentious photographer! it means the images have no claim to documentary reality though they start in a camera and mostly end up in the style of photographs.

I aim to create pictures which can be appreciated on four levels: the first being an interesting or beautiful subject; the second an abstract design; the third an emotional connection; fourth and the deepest, a link to the hidden mythical / spiritual shared consciousness that feeds our dreams. A first glance may not get beyond the first levels but if you spend a little longer looking there is more to see.

Much of my work explores the ideal relationship between mankind and the natural world and female nudes feature especially, partly because they have intrinsic beauty and often for the symbolism of the human in a totally natural state as an observer or participant in a landscape.

I am grateful for any comments or criticisms of my photos about both the technical aspects and your response to the image as a whole and the idea behind it.

Influences
My strongest influence is Marie, my wife and the subject of much of my work - she awakened the concept of beauty which remains the foremost goal of my pictures. My understanding of abstract design has come from the experience of every picture I have seen - some recent reading on the subject has just shown that others have come to many of the same conclusions (and some different ones). The often hidden philosophical background owes a lot to Carl Jung and the mythologies of classical, biblical, Celtic and Nordic cultures.
